Toshiba And Rambus Sign Patent License Agreement


Los Altos, California - Rambus Inc. (Nasdaq:RMBS), one of the world's premier technology licensing companies specializing in high-speed chip interfaces, announced today it has signed a new patent license agreement with Toshiba Corporation. This agreement grants Toshiba a license to Rambus patents for SDRAM and DDR SDRAM memory controllers.

Office Action

Definition:
A letter from a trademark examining attorney setting forth the legal status of a trademark application. There are several types of Office actions: examiners amendments, priority actions, and suspension inquiry letters.

Agent (patent)

Definition:
One who is not an attorney but is authorized to act for or in place of the applicant(s) before the Office, that is, an individual who is registered to practice before the Office.
